Situation

A 30-year-old barrier was severely damaged by rockfall. It had to be replaced as quickly as possible to protect the traveled road below from rockfalls and avalanches.

Description

Eberle Landschaftsbau und Geotechnik AG installed the four-meter high and 44-meter long Geobrugg special solution.

2024 the barrer was equipped with GUARD Monitoring devices to detect snow loads and rockfall.
