We are enthusiastic to continue the #FacesOfGeobrugg series, showcasing the incredible individuals driving our company forward. This episode features Fadi Piotr Chammas, our dedicated country manager in Poland. 

Fadi, the first time we met, I was wondering about your name since it didn't sound quite polish to me. Can you tell us more about your cultural background?

Well, I was born in Kraków to a mixed Polish / Syrian family; after that, my life was all about traveling between Syria and Poland until I finished my master’s degree at Kraków Technical University. After that, I lived briefly in Chicago, and when I returned to Poland, I started working in the construction business.

How long have you been with the company, and what initially attracted you to this role?

I have been with the company for about ten years, but I already knew about Geobrugg. While I was working as a contractor, we installed around 50,000 m² of TECCO on several projects. What attracted me to this role was the need for a change in my professional life, and the company’s friendly atmosphere helped me make a decision I don’t regret.

Is there any projects you’re particularly fond of ?

A few years ago, I received a request from the National Road Authority regarding bridge Gap Protection. I prepared a solution, did the calculations, sent it to the investor, and waited. Initially, I thought of a small project with a few rolls of mesh and nothing more. But after I started receiving orders for trucks of DELTAX stainless steel, I couldn’t help but feel overwhelmed with joy.

What is one thing that motivates you?
