6000 m

Ano de instalação:

2025

Situação:

The Balaton Park Circuit is located next to Lake Balaton, one of the largest lakes in Central Europe and one of the region’s foremost tourist destinations.

In 2024, it was decided that Balaton Park would be the returning place of Grand Prix-level motorcycle racing in Hungary. The park would host the first MotoGP Grand Prix of Hungary in 33 years and the first World Superbike event in the country in 35 years.

In order to match the FIM/FIA’s highest safety standards, several changes have been made, e.g:

  • The run-off zones were expanded to three times their former area
  • The external service road was constructed
  • The safety fences and barriers were rebuilt in connection with the above
  • An additional layout was built across three corners of the track

Descrição:

To meet the FIM/FIA’s safety requirements, Geobrugg supplied more than 6 kilometers of debris fencing around the venue, which provided critical protection for spectators, track marshals, and participants.

Additionally, 32 meters of single-sided concrete barriers have been erected, each integrated with fence panels to further reinforce the perimeter.

Over 35 flexible openings were installed, giving the camera crew and photographers a streamlined view of the track.
